Networking In the Pollards Hill Community

Partnership Members:

BAME Voice – Works strategically to increase the influence, representation and active engagement of all minority ethnic organisations, and their communities, in the decisions and policies that affect them.

NTCG Dayspring – They are also linked to Church who organise an annual family day within the Pollards Hill Estate

Togetherness Community Centre (TCC) – Our main base for our Easter and Summer programmes.

Pollards Hill Youth Centre – We are friends of the local youth centre and help to raise funds and awareness for the centre.

British Legion (Poppy Club) – The Royal British Club (Poppy Club) based in Mitcham offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

Sherwood Park Halls – We come together to ensure we use local suppliers for projects we can plan together such as our annual Community Day.

Dons Local Action Group – Through the Dons we have been able to provide volunteer opportunities for young people and obtain IT equipment to help with developing their media talent and assist with homework.

Peers and Pages – Our online partnership with this online literacy club, helps us deliver reading comprehension weekly support to all of our young people but primarily to those deemed challenged.

ATS Creative Academy – Giving creative support to young people and adults in the London Community of Merton and to the wider areas of England.

AIM121 projects hosted our first community event. We brought together over 300 people from across the Borough of Merton, including Faithful Leaders, Councillors and the Mayor. A truly community affair!
